Happy October, Key Club! I’m Amber, and I’m happy to be serving as one of your Key Club Editors for the 2021-2022 term! This past month was filled with several exciting activities, from our successful fundraiser events to the annual PTP Week. You can keep up with all the buzz on our official Key Club instagram, @dhskcofficial, which is always up to date! I hope you enjoyed guessing the board’s baby pictures as much as I did!

H ow do you feel Blazers?!

I’m Brandon Dadis, and I proudly serve as your Key Club President for the 2021-2022 term. Hope everyone is doing amazing as we head into this month of October! These past few weeks have been pretty exciting with all the activities we just held, but this is just a small portion of what we have planned for this year. From the board and I, we would like to thank everyone for their continuous support and dedication to this club! Continue to ignite the spirit, Blazers! Stay cool,

“We had the September DCM in Spring Valley, and it was exciting to meet different Key Clubs from other schools! I even recognized a few faces. Although my team wasn’t able to win the poncho game, my teammates were definitely great cheer choreographers!” - Amber Altamira

“It was a fun experience making a poster with friends and meeting new people. The board was really nice and gave us snacks. Even though we did not finish our poster and felt kind of rushed, it was fun the time we had together!” - Rylee Ines

“I really enjoyed hanging out with all my friends! It was a fun experience to see all my friends working hard. It was memorable because of how long the lines were. By the time we left, there was still a few hours of wait. It felt nice to help out. I liked volunteering there specifically because the staff was quite nice.” - Kaylee May

“As a traditional event in our school, hosting pie wars with Key Club this year was so great! We had a good lineup of teachers that were able to get pied and we raised a considerable amount of money. The teachers were good sports, and everyone had a good laugh at the end!” - Brandon Dadis
