Publisher’s Column by Barry Plaxen Synchronicity of the Month: Sorry, folks. Couldn’t find one! L Vocabulary Lesson: Psaltery: an ancient and medieval musical instrument played by plucking the strings with the fingers or a plectrum. The bowed psaltery appears to be a 20th-century invention. Intaglio: a design incised or engraved into a material.
