This is the month for plans and dreams for the year ahead – where to go on holiday and how to improve the house and garden in 2018. Or maybe you’re even planning to put your home on the market and move this year? At Richmond Towers (which Ma, Pa and I co-own) we did stuff to the house non-stop last year and yet never got around to The Big One – the loft conversion we’ve been talking about since we put in an offer. What seemed urgent then has become less so as we’ve come to enjoy sharing space. I think my dream of a big loft bedroom, office and an en suite with gold taps might stay a dream for another year… but do let this ideas-packed issue inspire yours!
