There was an omission on the Special Prizes list sent to the Flagstaff for the previous edition. Two Devonport Rotary Club scholarships were awarded to Year 13 students as they move into tertiary studies. The winners need to demonstrate consistent effort and show strength of character in all aspects of school life. The two recipients were Phoebe Rendle and Vailoa Penn. Our thanks go to Devonport Rotary for their ongoing support. Earlier in the year, Devonport Rotary Club provided generous financial support for two of our top science students to attend the National Science and Technology Forum. They were Year 12 students Max Griffiths and Eleanor Johnson.
ERRATUM: In the Prize-Giving Special Awards list published in the November 30 edition the recipient of the Peninsular Cup was incorrectly stated. The winner was Phoebe Johnson.
