What happens now? Thank you for your application! When we receive your form at Head Office we will invite you to a short interview; either at Head Office in Exeter, your nearest DAAT Shop or somewhere convenient for you. We will then start to process your application and take up your references. (This can take a few weeks as it’s done by volunteers, so please bear with us!) Once this has been successfully completed you will be invited to an induction morning at our Head Office. During this informal meeting you will be given your ID badge, receive your uniform and collect the necessary paperwork and equipment to get you started. You will also discover a little more about our organisation and meet some key members of staff. Volunteers are asked to come to an annual training session throughout their time with the organisation. These are held at Head Office, at our shops and at our Airbases, so there should be a meeting somewhere near to you.
