CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OVER 5 WEEKS A fifth anniversary deserves five weeks of celebrations. Every Tuesday evening in July, it’ll be obvious that popular Sundsvall Bjuder is celebrating its fifth anniversary. And as usual at no cost to visitors. TEXT JENNIE ZETTERQVIST

Eurovision contestants Robin Bengtsson and Frans, Joakim Lundell, Lasse Berghagen, Molly Sandén, Jill Johnson, Danny Saucedo, Eric Saade, Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Hep Stars … The list of stars who’ve performed at Sundsvall Bjuder since it all began is long and diverse. And this summer it’s time to make it even longer!
ROCKABILLY, SING-ALONG AND HIP HOP
The free event has attracted huge crowds to the main square and is returning for its fifth year with an impressive line-up. The summer party will get off to a royal start on July 3 with rockabilly queen Eva Eastwood and her full live band. On July 10 Kalle Moraeus and friends will entertain us with a

sing-along. On July 17 you’ll have the chance to shuffle with would-be Swedish Eurovision contestants Samir & Viktor. On July 24 Linda Pira will fill Stora Torget with hip hop and the touring Rix FM Festival will provide the grand finale on July 31.

Sundsvall Bjuder is a collaboration between Sundsvall Municipality, companies and restaurants that has attracted countless music lovers of all ages from the start. “We’re so pleased that Sundsvall Bjuder is returning in 2018. It’s really helped to boost the city centre on otherwise humdrum Tuesday nights, and it’s great to see what it’s grown into,” comments Eva Bergström at municipal company Näringslivsbolaget i Sundsvall.
