Letter from the Publisher After a two month break, DeVelo is back with a mission. We used this downtime to dig deep into the soul of DeVelo. Not only in how we present ourselves, but in how we execute and finish. We are certain you will be pleased with the outcome.

We always knew what we wanted: dynamic photography, cutting edge fashion, irresistible content, and an irreplaceable role in the community. That hasn’t changed. But now we’re focused on refining each of those goals with the aim of creating the best Fashion & Lifestyle Magazine in Denver. In this issue, you will find artists close to my heart. On the front cover, you will see the work of Gino. He is a Denver native with immense talent and no formal training, making his designs uniquely Denver creations. His designs speak of and for the female body like no one’s I’ve seen before, and we are proud to feature him in the magazine Featured in our music section, you will see Molly Cottrell, an immensely talented neo-soul singer. In the community, DeVelo has been working with the non-profit organization EarthLinks. For those of you who don’t know EarthLinks, they are a prominent organization in Denver that among other projects, helps the poor and homeless learn job skills by teaching them to cultivate gardens and arrange flowers—helping our environment and Denver’s destitute at the same time. By the time this issue is published, DeVelo will have sponsored “An Evening to Grow: Cocktail Benefit” in which one hundred percent of the proceeds benefit EarthLinks. We are proud to support this big player in our community, and we hope you will too.
