WHO'S WHO IN THE CAST

Akira J. Suitt (Munchkin, Ozian) is thoroughly enjoying his theatrical debut in The Wizard of Oz. Every moment of preparation for this performance has been a delight, all the hard work truly rewarding. His favorite part has been witnessing the behind the scenes magic that brings the show to life. When he is not in rehearsals, Akira is both a percussionist in the band as well as a member of the choir at his school. He is thankful to Kei, Mommy, Daddy, Mee Maw, and Pee Paw for their crucial and steadfast support.

Amarissa Missios (Munchkin, Poppy, Ozian, Flying Monkey) is thrilled to be back on stage with Destrehan Theatre! Amarissa is a junior at DHS. Most recently she has performed in DT's Annie (Boylan, Ensemble). Past shows include PUFFS! (Harry, Suzie, Others), Little Women (Sally), and Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon). She would like to thank her friends and family for their support, and her theatre family for always being there for her!

Anna Delaune (Poppy, Ozian, Winkie) is very excited to make her Destrehan Theatre debut! She was most recently in JPAS’s Legally Blonde in July as Student, H&H Salesgirl, and Cashier She also played the role of Taylor McKessie in the SCP Middle School production of High School Musical, Jr. She is extremely thankful to be a part of the talented theater program in SCPPS. She would like to thank her family, talented theater teachers, and vocal coach for helping her to accomplish everything that she’s done so far

She is a third grader at Lakewood. When she’s not in school she can be found dancing her heart out at DU of Paradis. She wants to thank her mom, dad, and sister for making sure she is always ready for her extracurricular activities.

Bailey Windmann (Coroner, Poppy) Second DT production! Recent credits include Kate in Annie, Sandy in Camp Rock, and Mr. Mayor in Suessical, Jr. Other credits include Mary Poppins Jr , The Nutcracker, Aesop, and Stone Soup. Bailey attends BOSS for song, dance, and theatre and is also a Talented Theatre student. Bailey is excited for the opportunity Destrehan Theatre has provided her!

Benjamin White (Lollipop Guild, Ozian, Flying Monkey) is excited to take the stage with Destrehan Theatre! He is in both Talented Art and Talented Theater in his 3rd grade class. He thrives in his Musical Theatre, Song Performance and Tumbling classes he takes weekly. His favorite role is Jason Gray in Disneys Camp Rock.

Brennan Reech (Poppy, Ozian, Winkie) is a sophomore at DHS. This is her second performance with Destrehan Theatre. Past credits include Annie with DT, The Mystery Club, Beauty and the Beast, Game of Tiaras, Willie Wonka, Wizard of Oz, and Annie with BOSS. Brennan would like to thank her friends and family for their support.

and she takes private piano, guitar, and ukulele lessons. In addition, she is a student of ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling, and contemporary dance at Broadway Open Stage Studio. Caison is dedicating this performance to her nephew, Lawson and her niece, Vallie.

Cale Arceneaux (Miss Gultch/Wicked Witch) a senior at DHS, is thrilled to be with DT! Previous DT credits include Grease (Teen Angel) and Annie (Rooster Hannagin). Other credits include Legally Blonde: The Musical (Emmett Forrest). Wizard of Oz is a show he’s dreamed of being a part of since he was kid. He thanks everyone for their continued support over the years, and invites you to enjoy this evening as we take you "somewhere over the rainbow!"

Caleb Cantrell (Zeke/Lion/Emerlad City Guard) is a 9th grader at DHS. He is involved in Show Choir, Talented Theatre, and Talented Music. Past performances include Shrek (Young Shrek), Annie (Bert Healy), Puffs (Oliver Rivers), The Little Mermaid (Flounder), Peter Pan (Michael), and Beauty and the Beast, Jr. (Chip) to name a few. He will appear next as Charlie Winslow in JPAS' Holiday Inn. Caleb credits his beloved mentors Chris and Kyle Aucoin Melohn for inspiring his love of theatre. He would also like to thank his family and friends for all of their love and support throughout his theatrical endeavors!

Cayleigh Zenon (Munchkin, Poppy, Ozian) is a 12 year old 7th grade honors student who enjoys sketching, musicals, nature, and animal, especially her dog, Dakota. She loves theater and hopes to be an actress one day. Thank you to my family for all the words of support and encouragement!

Charleigh Bordelon (Lullaby League, Poppy, Ozian) is thrilled to be performing in her second Destrehan Theatre production. She made her musical debut as an orphan in Annie. She is involved in Talented Theater and Talented Art in SCPPS. She enjoys tumbling/acro, dancing, painting/drawing, and swimming. Her favorite part about Destrehan Theatre is all of the friends she has made!

Charley LeBlanc (Munchkin, Poppy) is thrilled to be back on stage with DT. She was previously seen as an Orphan in Annie. Charley loves dancing, music, and theater. She would like her family to know how much she appreciates their love and support in following her dreams!

Edalie Sternberger (Munchkin, Poppy) is thrilled to be performing in DT's Wizard of Oz. Ella Shepard (City Father, Poppy) DT debut! She attends Lakewood Elementary School where she is in Talented Theater , a plays flute in the band, and is on the Gatorettes Dance Team. She is also on a Tap Competition Team for Kelli’s Kreative Dance. Ella hopes everyone follows their own “Yellow Brick Road” in life and enjoys the show!

Ellie Wood (Apple Tree, Poppy, Ozian, Winkie) is thrilled to be performing with Destrehan Theatre again! Ellie is a 10th grader at Hahnville High School and has performed in Annie, Grease, Radium Girls, Twelfth Night, The Little Mermaid, The Jungle Book, Spamalot, The Addams Family, and Mary Poppins She would like to thank her family and friends for their continuous love and support.

Elliot Daspit (Lollipop Guild, Ozian, Flying Monkey) Theatrical debut! She is a fifth grader at ESE and loves spending her time singing and writing. Elliot wants to thank her cast mates, director, and family for their support and for making this such an awesome and fun experience...and her mom for driving her to and from rehearsals.

Ensley Dyess (Mayor of Munchkinland, Poppy) a 4th grader at LWE is thrilled to be back on the stage with DT. Her past credits include Tessie in Annie, Georgina Farlow

in Disney’s Camp Rock,Mrs. Mayor in Seussical, Jr., and Big Kid Ensemble in Matilda, Jr. She studies dance with River Region Ballet and has performed various roles in their annual Nutcracker ballet. Hannah Mire (Barrister, Ozian) Second performance with DT! Her previous roles include Molly in Annie, Mitchie Torres fin Camp Rock the Musical, and Wickersham Brother 3 in Seussical both with Broadway Open Stage Studio. Hannah enjoys singing in her school choir and playing piano. She looks forward to another great performance experience with DT!

Harper Dufrene (Poppy, Ozian) is excited to be back on stage with Destrehan Theatre! Her last show was The Little Mermaid In her spare time, Harper enjoys playing percussion in the school band as well as playing tennis.

Harper Judge (Munchkin, Poppy) is excited to be back on the stage with Destrehan Theatre. She is a third grader at Lakewood Elementary and in the talented art and talented theater programs. She made her theatrical debut with DT's Annie. She thanks her Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and little brother Jackson.

Jaidon Cotton (Hunk/Scarecrow) is an 11th grader at DHS He has been acting for 9 years, and in Talented Theatre for 8 years. Some of his favorite roles include: Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Mile Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Boomer in the Mystery Club. He’d like to thank his parents, family, and especially his dog Demi for being supportive.

Hannah Mire (Molly) is so excited to make her DT debut! She has a passion for performing and the arts. As well as musical theatre, her other hobbies include playing percussion for her school band, playing piano, dancing, and tumbling. Hannah would like to thank DT for this amazing opportunity as well as her family and friends for all their support!

Jolie Swint (City Father, Ozian) is a 6th grader at JB Martin Middle School. Previous credits include Charlotte’s Web, Disney's The Little Mermaid, The Nutcracker, Annie and Frankenstein When not performing she enjoys acting by herself, dancing and getting excited for future holidays.

Julianna Longo (Apple Tree, Ozian, Winkie) is excited to be journeying to Oz! Previous credits include Legally Blonde (Chutney, Ensemble), Annie (Cecille, Women 4, New Yorker), Little Women (Amy), Disney's The Little Mermaid (Ensemble), Peter Pan (Lost Boy), Annie,

Jr. (Duffy), Ugly Duckling (Toadette), Madagascar, Jr. (Mort), Mary Poppins (Sweeper, Park Walker, Ms. Smyth), Monty Python's Spamalot, Grease and Addams Family. Kinley Donaldson (Lullaby League, Poppy) 5th grade Talented Art and Theatre student at Schoeffner. Broadway credit as Lulu in Waitress Tour and recently as Molly in Destrehan Theatre’s production of Annie When she isn’t on stage she can be seen in commercials and featured films. Laurie Reinagel (Aunt Em/Glinda) is honored to be playing Em and Glinda and beyond excited to share the stage with both of her children, Mary and Will. Laurie graduated with a degree in Vocal Music from Loyola University. She teaches choir at JB Martin and enjoys developing young artists Favorite credits include Little Women (Marmee), Cabaret (Fraulein Schneider), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Muriel), Oliver! (Mrs. Sowerberry), and Nunsense (Reverend Mother). She thanks her husband and amazing two kids!

Leo Harms (Nikko, Coroner) is a 5th grader at Lakewood Elementary where he is a member of the choir and plays percussion in the band. He really enjoys playing piano and building things. He was selected for the

Lucas Harms (Professor Marvel/Wizard of Oz) is a proud father, husband, teacher, and artist. His work has taken him to many theaters and companies across the country He received his Masters in Theatre Design in Production and Design from Southernregon University. Madison Lumar (Dorothy Gale) is thrilled to be playing Dorothy in Destrehan Theatre’s production of The Wizard of Oz. She is a Senior at DHS and has been in theatre for as long as she can remember. Mariela Monti (Munchkin, Poppy, Ozian) is thrilled to be returning to the stage for her second production with DT. She has recently been seen on stage in Annie, Camp Rock, and The Nutcracker. Mariela attends Broadway Open Stage Studio where she takes music theater, dance, and song performance. She would like to thank her family and friends, and her family at BOSS for their love and support.

Marigny Skiba (Munchkin, Ozian) Second performance with DT! Favorite credits include Annie with DT, Peggy in Camp Rock and Bird Girl in Seussical both with Broadway Open Stage Studio. She also plays the flute, sings in the choir, is a member of the Gatorettes Dance Team, and serves on the altar at Holy Family Thanks to Mom, Dad, Madalyn, Joseph, and her tow Border Collies Glory, and Rosie.

Mary Reinagel (Apple Tree, Ozian, Winkie) is a senior at DHS This is her sixth production with Destrehan Theatre. Previous credits include Annie (Ensemble), Little Women (Beth), and PUFFS! (Megan). She would like to thank the cast for making the process an enjoyable one!

McKinney Albarado (Barrister, Munchkin, Flying Monkey, Poppy, Ozian) Fourth Destrehan Theater production! Michael Shavor (Zeke/Lion) is excited to be telling the story of The Wizard of Oz! He has been seen in Annie (Bundles, Hooverville, Santa, and Drake) and Peter Pan (Pirate). He has also helped backstage for productions with JPAS and DT. Michael wants to thank Mr Aucoin, his sister Lauren, and his friend Will for all of their continuous support. Enjoy the show!

Mika Badeaux (Ozian/Winkie) is 8th grader at JB Martin who is currently in Choir, Drama Club, and Talented Theater. She has recently performed in Frankenstein (Monster), Camp Rock (Brown), Annie (Ensemble), High School Musical, Jr.(Mrs Darbus), Disney's The Little Mermaid, and Legally Blonde, Jr. She will be performing in Frozen, Jr. in March. Milana Wilson (City Father, Poppy) is a 4th grader with a true love for all things film. From theater to YouTube, she loves it all. This is her first year as a Talented Theatre. The Wizard of Oz marks her theatrical debut! She is so excited to have found a place where she belongs and looks forward to many more productions with Destrehan Theatre!

Morgan Jefferson (Munchkin/Poppy)

Second production with DT! She is excited to be on the stage again. She’s a 7th year dancer at Dance Unlimited of Destrehan She’s has dreams of owning her own dance studio one day. She thanks her family for all their support!

Olivia Dempster (City Father/Ozian/Flying Monkey) is thrilled to be performing with DT again. She was an Orphan in Annie and received a nomination for a Maria Reyes Award. She has performed in the River Region Ballet’s The Nutcracker and is a company member of Broadway Open Stage Studio. She is also a member of the Lakewood Elementary Gatorettes, Choir, and the Parish Honor Choir. Olivia would like to dedicate this performance to her Maw Maw whose favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz.

Rebecca Scott (Munchkin, Poppy, Ozian, Flying Monkey) Fourth DT performance! Previous credits include PUFFS! (J. Finch), Little Women (Hannah), and Annie (Ensemble) She would like to thank her parents for affording her this opportunity. Break legs to the cast and crew!

Reece Shillington (Munchkin, Poppy) is very excited to be a part of DT's The Wizard of Oz! Her introduction to theatre was over the summer in which she was able to be a part of Willy Wonka, Kids. She has enjoyed being on stage and making new friends! She thanks her family for their support!

Rory Toups (Munchkin/Ozian) Theatrical debut! She enjoys painting, crafting, and doing theatre in her free time. Thank you to family and friends for all the support!

Ryder Albarado (Lollipop Guild/Ozian) DT debut! He most recently was in the summer production of Matilda (Ensemble) He also appeared in Rivertown’s Joseph... and River Region’s The Nutcracker. In his free time, Ryder enjoys playing guitar, piano, singing and riding his bike!

Ryleigh Smith (Ozian/Winkie) DT debut! Previous credits include Shrek (Shrek), Beauty and the Beast (Madame de la Grande Bouche), Willie Wonka (Oompa Loompa) and Seussical (Horton) Prior to finding her talent in musical theater, she danced for 10 years with JJIM & Fusion. Ryleigh is excited to be a part of DT and is looking forward to future productions. Many thanks to her family and friends for supporting her in her theater endeavors.

Sage McTee (Apple Tree/Poppy/Ozian/Winkie) is an 8th grade Talented Theatre student at Albert Cammon Middle School. Second DT production! Recent credits include High School Musical, Jr. (Kratnoff), Annie (Orphan), and Willy Wonka, Jr. (Mrs. Beauregarde). She would like to thank Mr. Aucoin, her family, and her wonderful friends for supporting her and believing in her. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Samantha Scalise (Miss Gultch/Wicked Witch) is a junior at DHS! Wizard of Oz marks her third production with DT!

Previous credits include Little Women (Jo), PUFFS (Leanne), and The Mystery Club (Liza). She would like to thank her family for all their support!

Sarah Mire (Apple Tree/Poppy/Ozian/ Winkie) Four DT production! Favorite credits include Annie (Hooverville/Maid/NYC), Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), and Peter Pan (Lost Boy Twin). Tatum George (Lullaby League/Poppy) is thrilled to be back on stage in her second production with DT! Cojack (Toto) is a nine year old poodle mix Wizard of Oz marks his theatrical debut! When he's at home, he enjoys chasing and playing with his toys, naps on the porch, and lounging with momma. Dolly (Toto) is a nine year old mutt. She is thrilled to be taking the stage for the second timeasTotoinTheWizardofOz. When not on stage, she loves to lounge, nap, and snuggle with her daddy. Besides Oz, Dolly's favorite story details the time she was mistaken for a dustmop. She has enjoyed making the cast laugh with her antics. She hopesyouenjoytheshow!
