Dessol-screen offers discrete protection against sunlight. The various assembly options and range of lateral guide-tracks mean there is a solution for every situation. The screens are light, air and water permeable, are UV-resistant, do not decay and are very stable. Range of guide-tracks and box sizes from 85 mm and 100 mm.

The Dessol-store makes excessive heat a thing of the past! Dessol-store is excellent for combating over-heating. You can, thus, create a pleasant work/living environment and reduce your costs for air-conditioning and lighting. The diffused light also means you can avoid annoying reflections on screens.
• The Dessol-store comprises two cassette systems: a semi-circle cassette system and a rectangular variant that can also be built-in. The special paint finish makes the strips resistant to all weathers.

Dessol-sun 1 comprises winged elements. These extruded elements are available in various widths depending on the distance to be spanned. In addition, they are resistant to high winds. Dessol-sun 1 winged sunshades improve the thermal performance of the building by reducing direct heat from the sun but still providing the desired level of natural light, reducing the energy consumption that is necessary for operating electric fan and air conditioning systems and optimising natural ventilation.

Dessol-sun 2 is an efficient, adjustable outdoor sunshade that is made up of strips and provides decorative value to your building. The strips and frame are made of attractive, extruded aluminium which make the structures both light and durable. The strips used in the Dessol-sun 2 can be tilted from 0 to 90° and the system can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position. VERSATILE PATIO AWNING
The Dessol-randa TWIN is perfect for larger areas or patios! The TWIN veranda awning is a free-standing veranda awning made of minimum materials and ideal for larger surface areas. A huge advantage is the optimum water drainage (via the slope of min. 15°). This means that dirt does not stick to the screen. Integrated rain channels are therefore incorporated in the front frame. Dessol-randa also offers a stylish solution to the smoking clientele. Dessol-randa is a multi-functional patio awning that can be used open or closed and is available in widths up to 10 metres with an extension of up to 6 metres. In contrast to the classic veranda, Dessol-randa comes under terrace legislation and this means that smoking is permitted in this area. MAINTENANCE The life-expectancy of the installation depends on the way in which it is maintained. Increasing air pollution can lead to the system losing its glossy appearance. It is, therefore, very important to clean your sun protection as this extends its life-expectancy. Regular cleaning will prevent any chemical substances that have come from air pollution having a negative impact on the surface treatments.
• You are strongly advised to have the sun protection system inspected at least once a year to check its functioning and any damage. • The extruded aluminium components of the sun protection must be cleaned regularly • You are not advised to add extra lubrication to the mechanical components of the sun protection system. This will only attract and retain dirt.
• Clean aluminium with a neutral, non-aggressive cleaning agent. Avoid cleaning products with a pH value of over 7.5. • Do not use any abrasive cleaners! Make sure that acidic cleaning products and abrasive products do not come into contact with the system when you are cleaning the windows or façade.
• If the aluminium components of the sun protection are very dirty, use a pressure-washer. When doing so, make sure that the jet of water is only directed towards the aluminium components and not the mechanical elements.
Removing water spots
Wet the screen thoroughly and wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use soap.
Removing fingerprints and greasy spots
To remove fingerprints and greasy spots, use a clean cloth with a non-aggressive cleaning agent.
General
Dust can be removed from the dry screen by blowing, beating, brushing or vacuuming. Dust and dirt must be regularly brushed off when dry. Really dirty sunshades or aluminium strips can be cleaned with a pressure-washer. Makes sure the jet of water is used at an appropriate distance and is only directed towards the screen or strips, not the mechanical elements.
