LOU BERMINGHAM earned his BFA from San Jose State University and spent a year at Ecole des Beaux Arts, Aix-en Provence, France. He has lived in France and Egypt and now keeps his studio in Holy City, a ghost town in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Bermingham is inspired by Color Field Painting and Abstract Expressionism and has participated in several international exhibits in California, New York City, France and Cairo. His works belong in numerous private collections in the United States, Europe and Asia as well as in the Triton Museum, California.
