Children's Theatre Workshop Set for July in HSV

T

he Hot Springs Village Concerts Association is bringing the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT), the nation’s largest touring children’s theatre, to Hot Springs Village for a week-long theatre workshop in partnership with the HSV Property Owners Association.

The MCT tour directors will arrive in HSV on July 9 with a set, lights, costumes, props and make-up – everything needed to put on a play… except the cast. Open auditions will be held at 10 a.m. on July 9 at the Woodlands Auditorium and will cast 50-60 local students ages 6-18 to perform in the production of The Princess and the Pea. Although there is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play, students wishing to participate in the workshop (free of charge) and to audition must arrive by 10 a.m. and stay for the entire twohour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15 minutes after the audition. Download the permission

slip online: HSVConcerts.com. The show will be performed Friday, July 13 at 5:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, July 14 at 3 p.m. at the Woodlands Auditorium. A cast party will follow the Saturday performance. For more information on the Hot Springs Village Concert's Association, visit HSVConcerts.com.
