Meet Rocco!
Sometimes it’s tough being big. Just ask Rocco, the largest guy at HSCC. He wants to be a lap dog, but he weighs 96 pounds. He tries so hard to be good, but the slightest tug on a leash can be trouble! Most people want little dogs, so even though he puts on his best manners, many adopters walk right by him. But we know there is a big dog lover out there, looking for a sweet, beautiful pointer to run with. This three year old is super smart and can sit and shake hands like a gentleman. Rocco’s best fit would be with a home that doesn’t have other dogs or cats (which he loves to chase), or very young children.
Meet Hopkin!
Two-year-old Hopkin is such an adorable, fluffy baby. He’s easy going, mild mannered, and is happy sharing his space right now with eight feline friends. If you have other kitties at home he’ll fit right in! Hopkin absolutely LOVES people. He’s the ambassador of his colony, always the first to introduce himself to new friends. When it comes to snuggles and petting his soft, thick fur, Hopkin’s motto is “the more the merrier.” Hopkin always carries himself with quiet dignity. He would make a most excellent companion and housemate.
