04. CAFE AND ENTERTAINMENT
CHIVES AN UPSCALE CAFE AND ENTERTAINMENT VENUE FEATURING MEALS PRODUCED DURING A LIVE CHEF’S COMPETITION
Inspired by the ever popular cooking competitions, CHIVES gives the opportunity to a limited number of patrons per evening to "judge" the gourmet full meal produced by two competing noted chefs. Other café patrons are welcome to enjoy the live show while indulging in the cafe's regular menu options. Various challenges and themes will be presented to the chefs, but all with the goal of producing a truly delectable end result. Once a week the Café will feature a live cooking demonstration, after which all patrons will enjoy the freshly prepared meal together.

KITCHEN RENOVATION PROPOSAL
Install all new cabinetry, flooring, countertops, backsplash, appliances and lighting to improve both form and function of the space Utilize the large, very empty left side of the kitchen space by placing the refrigerator/freezer, coffee station and large panty cabinets on that side, as well as a built in desk unit Add a peninsula to the working side of the kitchen so that family and friends can sit closer to the cook Use soft sage greens, whites and wood tones in the cabinetry with gold accents in the hardware and lighting to create a light, soothing and on-trend ambiance.
