Celebrates 40th Anniversary

When Las Casuelas Nuevas opened in April, 1973, the beautiful hacienda style restaurant was a fruition of the Delgado family’s dream. The architecture and decor by Arthur Valdez was based on one of Mexico City’s most beautiful restaurants, a beloved place that the Delgado family often visited. The magnificent tree-shaded garden patio was added in 1983, designed by Raul Sosa. “For my parents, this was their dream restaurant,” said Joaquin Delgado, who with his wife Sharon, now own and operate this magnificent landmark along Rancho Mirage’s “Restaurant Row.” From the warm, gracious atmo-
sphere, to delicious, authentic dishes from all over Mexico, and lively mariachi music and festive dancers on weekends in the grand patio, Las Casuelas Nuevas has certainly lived up to its motto: The Spirit of Mexico in the Heart of Rancho Mirage. In celebration of Las Casuelas Nuevas’ and the City of Rancho Mirage’s 40th birthdays, the Delgados created five new regional entrees, a new appetizer, and the Delgado Mirage Margarita. Come join Joaquin and Sharon in celebrating Las Casuelas Nuevas’ 40th anniversary, open daily from 11 a.m. for lunch and dinner, and on Sundays at 10 a.m. for a lavish champagne brunch.
