Roof panel boards

Four different designs

The time it takes to cover the roof is halved with roof panel boards compared to loose roof panel.

The boards are carefully adapted to the distance between the roof trusses, so the work can be done quickly and smoothly.

Simplify your roof construction

Roof panel boards, or roof underlays, save time and money on installation compared to loose roof panel. You can save even more if you also choose one of our painted variants. Roof panel boards from Derome guarantee you a cost-effective, quick and smooth construction process.

FOUR DIFFERENT DESIGNS

Roof panel boards from Derome are available in four different designs. All manufacturing is inspected via RISE - Research Institutes of Sweden. All products are type-approved for puncture protection with a moisture content of 16% (average 13–18%).

SELECT A THICKNESS

→ 20 mm thick can cope with gable overhangs of 650 mm up to snow load zone 3.0.

→ 23 mm thick can cope with gable overhangs of 650 mm up to snow load zone 4.0.

RANGE

These specifications presuppose interaction with bargeboard and battens. Speak to the architect if uncertain.

For gable overhangs greater than 650 mm from the outer edge of the frame, or in snow load zone 4.5 or above, contact your salesperson at Derome for help selecting the correct thickness.

*Type-approval from RISE is an accredited certification. The product’s properties have been verified either through testing by a competent testing body or by calculation. Manufacturing is quality-assured through inspection based on third-party inspection requirements.

* All roof underlays can be cut exactly to length from 1800 to 5100 mm.

“The greatest benefit is quick installation – the roof is finished quickly”

CUSTOMER REVIEW

Byggservice i Mark AB uses roof panel boards from Derome in building projects. This is what owner and contract manager Jonas Olofsson has to say:

“The greatest benefit of roof panel boards is that they can be quickly installed – the roof is finished quickly. This is vital, as installing roof panel on a roof is a highly weather-sensitive job. It’s also a cost-effective alternative that saves money for both us and our clients. Quick installation also helps create a better work environment, as the workload on personnel is reduced significantly when a tiring task can be completed quickly.

We buy primed boards to reduce the risk of growth on visible parts, such as the eaves, before they can be painted. A client usually doesn’t have the opportunity to paint until later, by which time black spots can easily form on the underside that need to be removed before painting. Primed roof panel boards removes that risk.

It’s also important to us that we can get the boards precisely cut, as this saves time on installation. The less time it takes, the lower the cost and the strain on our personnel’s bodies.

REDUCE THE RISK OF MOULD

To avoid the risk of microbial growth of mould, rot and algae, wooden surfaces on roof panel boards should be treated either during production or immediately after installation. Otherwise, spores that stick to the surface may grow and cause major problems. Building elements such as roof overhangs and carports that are exposed to damp air and condensation are most vulnerable.

Choose boards with a primer, intermediate coat or fully prepainted to better protect the product and to save a great deal of time on site.
