JINGLE JOG Feel the Christmas Spirit as you line up with other ‘santas’ to support your local hospital charity. The Jingle Jog takes you on a 5km (3.1 miles) route around the picturesque Markeaton Park. The fun run is for everyone. Sign up at derbyhospitalscharity.org.uk

Come and see the 44th Caribbean carnival and watch the colourful parade process from Derby City Centre to Osmaston Park where a family fun day will be enjoyed by all ages.
Ages 3-11, during October half-term.
Create a story and turn it into a comic strip. After that, make printing plates and print them on a hand-built press, made out of a 150-year-old washing mangle. Suitable for children 5+, under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.
