DERBY FESTé Three day spectacular celebrating Derby’s Cathedral Quarter
Following increasingly successful events in 2007 and 2008, Derby Festé is becoming a central event in Derby’s cultural calendar, bringing the whole city out on the streets for three days of fantastic events and extraordinary performance. Compagnie des Quidams open this year’s festival with the weird and wonderful characters of Herbert’s Dream, converging on Cathedral Green for a stunning visual climax.
This will be followed by a Festé Street Party and Céilidh on the Market Place. Saturday focuses on great live performances on Cathedral Green with The People’s Stage, followed by Transe Express’ Mobile Homme high above the Market Place.
