A+ Dog Obedience, Ages 12+

Instructor Angie Dickinson takes you through the step-by-step process of teaching your canine friend commands such as “sit,” “come,” “down,” “wait,” and many more. Only one dog/handler team allowed per household per six-week course. First class is for humans only. North Lakes Rec Center

Adult, Child, & Infant CPR/AED Certification, Ages 12+

Denton County CPR and First Aid provides EMS Safety Services hands-on CPR and AED training and certification for adults, children and infants using Prestan manikins that have built in monitors to verify if students are effectively giving CPR compressions. EMS Safety Services, Inc. is OSHA compliant and is approved by federal, state, municipal and private/nonprofit organizations. North Lakes Rec Center The Knight School Chess, Ages 12-17

The Knight school is a beginner-friendly, high-energy, party-based, evelopmentally enriching chess academy. Our program is unique; each lesson is full of chess jokes, silly chess videos, and fun activities on top of chess tactics lessons. Denia Rec Center
