Outdoor Soccer, Ages 4-12
Recreational outdoor soccer is a sport in which every child can have fun while learning about teamwork, developing individual skills, and maintaining physical fitness. Fall and Spring Leagues Age Divisions: 4-6 | 7-8 | 9-10 | 11-12 Vela Athletic Complex
Flag Football, Ages 5-12
Flag Football not only makes a better, safer game, but inspires player participation and creates fun playing experiences. Players learn the fundamentals of football, multiple positions, responsibility, and accountability. Fall and Spring Leagues Age Divisions: 5-6 | 7-9 | 10-12 Vela Athletic Complex
Volleyball, Ages 7-14
With an emphasis on team spirit and sportsmanship, players have the opportunity to learn the basic volleyball fundamentals such as serving, setting, hitting, blocking and digging. Fall, Spring, and Summer Leagues Age Divisions: 7-8 | 9-10 | 11-12 | 13-14 UNT Gym
Basketball, Ages 4-12
A great way for players to fine-tune their skills, dribbling, shooting, and guarding. The league includes eight games, and the fee includes a jersey and awards for all players. UNT Winter and Summer Leagues
Futsal Indoor Soccer, Ages 4-12
Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Played on a hard court in which walls or boards are not used. McMath Middle School Winter League
Track & Field, Ages 9-14
Runner2Runner offers age-appropriate instruction that will prepare athletes for a future in cross-country, track and field events, distance running, while inspiring a love for running and being active. Summer League Coming Soon!

Soccer Sparks, Ages 2-12
Players will learn ball control and awareness, dribbling, proper passing techniques, shielding, shooting, heading, and team play from coaches with USSF National Soccer Coaching licenses. Fridays at Denia or Saturdays at North Lakes Stay Ready Basketball, Ages 4-12
Great for both the beginner looking to gain a basic understanding of the sport and the veteran needing to focus on skills. MLK Jr. Rec Center Ages 4-6 |Tuesdays, 5-6 p.m. Ages 7-12 | Tuesdays, 6-7 p.m.
Lil' Striders Runners, Ages 6-12
Lil’ Striders is an introductory running program for youth boys and girls. Learn discipline, progressive training, and overall fitness using multi-planar movement. McMath Middle School Saturdays, 5 p.m. Tiny Tutu’s Ballet, Ages 2-3
Dancers will learn the fundamentals of ballet in a nurturing and playful environment through simple directives and guided imaginative play. North Lakes Rec Center Saturdays, 9:35 a.m. Beginning Ballet, Ages 4-6
Kids will learn to develop grace, strength, balance, and basic techniques from beginner barre through imaginative play and simple directives. North Lakes Rec Center Saturdays, 10:05 a.m. Red Tiger Karate, Ages 5+

Tot open gym is an exciting place to come and let your little one run and play. Half of our gym will be set up with tunnels, balls, toys, play mats, ball pits, and much more to explore! Come drop in anytime. Waiver of Liability required. Guardian must be present in room at all times. MLK Jr. Rec Center Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
King’s Tot Drop, Ages 3-11
King’s Tot Drop is perfect for parents to run errands, complete chores and have brunch dates! We provide a safe and enriching environment with fun, supervised activities! Children must be dropped off in clean diapers or have potty trained children in pull ups. Staff do not change diapers or administer medication. Waiver of Liability required. MLK Jr. Rec Center Saturdays, 9 a.m.-noon
Tutoring, Ages 5-18
The purpose of the program is to provide academic and social supports for children in our community and to provide meaningful opportunities for young adults to serve their local communities. The program is overseen by UNT faculty members, Shahla Alai-Rosales and Traci Cihon and program mentors and tutors are local service organizations and UNT students. MLK Jr. Rec Center Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4-6 p.m.
Teen Council, Ages 14-18
Our mission is to inspire teens to become active members of the community and by introducing new perspectives on their role within the community through leadership experiences, peer discussions, research, and community interactions. Applications are required. Denia Rec Center
