Jan/Feb 2015 Recap

Hello! My name is Jenna Horton. I am a Junior at UWL and I am taking on the role of the Delta Alpha President this year! I am so delighted to be taking on this position in our chapter. I initiated into Alpha Xi Delta in the Spring of 2013 as a freshman and I have been in love with the organization ever since. During my time in the chapter I have held some great positions! I have seen our chapter grow so much in the two years I have been a part and I cannot wait to see it grow even more. I have grown so much in Alpha Xi Delta and I am truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful organization. Please feel free to contact me at any time! Fraternally, Jenna Horton

Big/Little Reveal One of the most memorable parts of each semester for Alpha Xi Delta is when our new members get to find out who their Big Sister is. A “Big is someone that promises to be there for their Little Sister and teach her the important pieces of our sisterhood. Our New Member Orientation Chair, Callie Devens, did an exceptional job planning this night for our chapter!

International Badge Day On March 2nd, 2015 our sister and Panhellenic President Abigail Gnewikow hosted our International Badge Day luncheon and gave a presentation on why we wear our badge. Sisters got to reflect on what our badge, the quill, means to us and how we represent our chapter when we choose to wear it.

Spring Break The Delta Alpha chapter had a fun Spring Break, whether traveling around the country or staying close to La Crosse. Our sisters throw what they know wherever they go!

Thank You! Without your love and support, we would not have had such a successful semester recruiting new sisters, raising awareness for Autism, and growing in sisterhood. We cannot thank our parents, family, alumnae, and advisors enough for their continued dedication to helping us better ourselves and our chapter.
