Developed for Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport, the GEM brings together an innovative relationship between light and space. The Gem is composed of two polycarbonate shells with photoengraving derived from the anti-UV treatment and the molding process. It was designed to simultaneously be appealing and robust, to outperform and outlast its few rivals.

The surface of the aluminium reflector has tiny holes to highlight the volume of the luminaire. Steady performance, long-lasting and energy-saving features combined with elegant shapes and new functional approaches: Gem is an innovative solution imbued with technology in both the formal concept and the functional quality. Gem offers two light distributions: either with direct or direct/indirect.

The Gem’s shell is made of molded polycarbonate that has further been photoengraved for optimal light diffusion and received anti-UV treatments. The shell is sealed by 4 specially conceived clamps that are at the same time te suspension cable swiveling grippers. The surface of the superpure aluminium reflectors has tiny holes to highlight the volume of the luminaire. The aluminium support houses the light source and the electrical components. The optical assembly was designed to use metal halide lamps (70W) or compact fluorescent lamps (PL-H T5 60/85/120W).

Direct/indirect version

Developed for large public spaces, the Gem meets any direct illumination requirement with light source and light flow directed downwards.

The Gem is available with a double reflector directing light upwards and downwards to highlight spaces and volumes.

Designed by Fosters & Partners, this luminaire found its first significant application in the lighting of London’s North Greenwich Transport Interchange. Greenwich direct-indirect lighting system is designed above all to be used in large interiors such as stations, airports, exhibition halls and showrooms.

Greenwich is ideal for ceiling heights of 12 feet and above thanks to the direct-indirect optical design. The uplight optics yields soft general illumination while the downlight optics provides required task illumination.

To ensure maximum ease and practicality of installation, three different specific application versions have been developed: • Rod suspended available with 3 or 4 adjustable (±3-1/8”) steel suspension rods; • Cable suspended 3 steel suspension cables.

The top piece of glass is easily removable to enable maintenance thanks to the use of self retained fasteners.

The adjustable suspension rods are both unique in design and flexible in application. They allow fixation points to accomodate both the positioning of the luminaire and the location’s architectural specifications and details. Thanks to the use of jointed elements, the installation system with suspension rods is suitable for both ceiling and wall applications. The diagram illustrates the possibility to adjust the angle of the rods between 10° and 60°, and the respective effect on the overall dimension of the luminaire.

The Greenwich direct/indirect light ensure a high level of visual comfort, while providing direct general lighting.

The optical system design allows the adjustments of the down light output angle, between 70° and 120°, giving the advantage of different light levels at various mounting heights.

The Lingotto is composed of an optic bay made of die-cast aluminum, a 99.85% extra-pure aluminum sheet reflector, a die-cast aluminum frame, high quality silicon gaskets and nickel plated screws. The luminaire is secured to a steel rod joined to a cast aluminum fork for wall application. The Lingotto offers an asymmetric light distribution with a maximum luminous intensity at 45째. It is available in two versions: halogen and metal halide light sources.

The spotlights are connected by an articulated joint permitting a 58째 adjustments to the vertical axis. The technical characteristics of the fixture comply with EN60598-1 standard.

The electrical components included with the metal halide model are housed in an aluminum container, connected to the luminaire by means of a spiral cable. Three versions are available: • floor • wall • ceiling All fittings are equipped with asymmetric optics.

The asymmetric optics produces its maximum luminous intensity at 45°. It is therefore especially suitable for indirect lighting.

The product has been awarded the following prize: - iF Design Award 2006

Minimal, discreet, elegantly styled. This is the new Light Air system. Created to minimize environmental impact in all architectural projects. The pendant installation with steel cables enhances the effect of lightness already created by the minimal dimensions of the ultra-thin body: only 1-1/2 inch thick. The system has proven to be ideal in a broad range of spaces such as shops, showrooms, offices, shopping malls, schools, and rooms where Visual Display Units are used.

With extremely compact dimensions, the Linealuce system guarantees minimal visual impact, while the modular features enhance flexibility and adaptability. The system literally “disappears� behind cornice and stringcourses, radiating a soft and uniform light. Linealuce is available with a multitude of accessories including longitudinal and transversal baffles, anti-glare screens and colored filters. To ensure total safety, the Linealuce is rated IP65 protection in both upright and downright positions as well as being rated class II insulation.

Linealuce surface mounted is equipped with a practical and simple anchoring system using a manual clamp mechanism to simplify and facilitate installation and routine maintenance operations. The photos illustrate, in sequence, the steps involved in assembling and disassembling the appliance, even in applications using continuous modules. Assembling

This modular lighting system has been specifically designed to be used with T5 fluorescent tubes or xenon lamps.The single module is made from an extruded aluminum profile with die-cast aluminum caps, locked by stainless steel screws and fitted with a silicone gasket. The optics bay, sealed at the top by a glass screen siliconed directly to the extruded profile, houses the extra-pure aluminum sheet reflector with the light source. The fluorescent system (T5) is equipped with an internal electronic ballast.

Both systems are designed for through wiring. Wall or surface mounting is done by using the special anchor that allows installation of the module on uneven surfaces. The two versions of Linealuce, can also be suspended with cable or stems. The suspension cables are made of stainless steel and have a quick-adjusting device. Le Perroquet is made of die-cast aluminum and thermoplastic materials. It is available in four different sizes. The wide range of HID and low voltage sources provides the opportunity to obtain various light distributions such as spot, flood and wide flood. The suspended steel cables version offers a simple mechanical anchoring. Pan and tilt movements can be locked mechanically to guarantee precise positioning of the light beam (even after routine maintenance operations).

Le Perroquet was originally created to respond to various lighting problems encountered in the restoration of Beaubourg multimedia center in Paris. The flexibility of this system makes it possible to adapt to large architectural areas divided in a variety of spaces, from the show zones to the multimedia stations, libraries, shops and restaurants. Le Perroquet uses a wide range of low voltage and HID lamps to provide the opportunity of obtaining various light distributions: spot (S), flood (F) and wide flood (WF).

In this system, optimal operating conditions are achieved by separating the electrical components from the light source and by the use of “mixed� materials consisting of die-cast aluminum and polycarbonate. Thanks to these technical and aesthetic choices, the result is an thorough integration of functionality, efficiency and design.

The patented pendant system is designed for optimal mechanical and electrical installation. Moreover, all models can be locked in aiming position on both axis.

To ensure appropriate light control, a multitude of accessories are available: hood, barn doors, IR filter, linear spread lenses and colored lens es.

Mounting and removal of the optical assemblies are made using an innovative and rapid screw-on system, similar to that used for changing professional camera lenses. Le Perroquet indirect version is engineered to provide a diffused lighting in high ceilings environments with significant surface areas. The light is directly routed through a flow diverter avoiding spill around the model’s reflector panel. Thanks to these lighting properties and its special design, Le Perroquet indirect is ideal for areas such as exhibition halls, showrooms, and high profile public areas.

The bracelet and base plate coupling system ensure secure and practical installation of the unit.

The optimal lighting performance of “Le Perroquet” spotlight is combined with some practical application features. The free-standing Perroquet is in fact the ideal answer to the need for quick outfitting of temporary exhibitions areas or work areas where a fixed lighting installation wouldn’t be convenient.

This lighting system is equipped with an angle locking mechanism to maintain and ensure the precision of the selected angle.

Le Perroquet is fitted on a steel rod that permits greater adaptability, as it can be repositioned to create and fulfill precise lighting needs.

Le Perroquet floor is positioned on a fork that allows a vertical rotation of 355°. The positioning can be adjusted between -45° and +225° in reference to the horizontal plane.

Le Perroquet floor is available in two different versions: 1. The 6 feet system with halogen lamping (90W T4 12V); 2. The 7 feet version with Metal halide lamping (70W T6 G12). Le Perroquet floor is available with 2 different optical versions: spot (S) or flood (F). A safety switch is located at the fixture’s base. The angle and rotation of the fixture can be locked mechanically to ensure the position of the light source and its lighting effect.

The following accessories are available: directional flaps, wall-washer screens, IR filters, linear spread lens and colored filters. The technical characteristics of this fixture comply with EN60598-1 standard. This fixture is rated IP20. UL listed

The double layer aluminum reflector with satin exterior finish provides flood direct distribution. The aluminium heatsink housing further demonstrates how purity of form can also express high-tech performance. In a wide-range system like Berlino, technology is chosen for the ability to both please the eye and provide impeccable lighting performance.

The base is equipped with an attachment device that provides millimetric adjustment of the steel cable allowing for an easy installation.

The luminaire also incorporates a special focusing device which allows precise adjustment of luminous flux on both vertical and horizontal axis.

The use of special steel cables simplifies maintenance operations.

All standard metal halide versions are supplied with safety glass complete with a silicone seal and three fixation points.This safety glass permits the installation of Berlino in a wide range of environment, making it “Suitable for wet location�, and providing IP65 rating.

The Miniberlino presents all the charm of a design directly inspired by the Berlino series, coupled with extremely compact dimensions. These minipendants use low voltage halogen lamps and are particularly suitable for areas requiring pinpoint lighting to highlight products and displays, as well as decorative lighting. Miniberlino, comes with a diecast aluminum head coupled with an aluminum spun reflector for direct light or a glass diffuser for general lighting. It mounts directly to ceilings by means of a ceiling base supplied with integral electronic transformer. Miniberlino is available on stem (four different lengths) or with clear cord.
