The plan has been launched online and it boasts of a total of 17, 922 apartments on offer across four different categories. The apartments will be available to home seekers on the basis of their income.
As per officials, this housing scheme has already recovered around three lakh applications mainly because of the fact that Delhi Affordable Housing comes as one of the best opportunities for the people to own homes that can easily be afforded. There are online applications being accepted by individuals who are willing to buy apartments under this scheme. Here, it is worth noting that the last date for application is 10th May.
Different Categories of Apartments on Offer Under Delhi Housing Schemes, there are a total of 152 two BHK apartments available to be occupied by the people belonging to the HIG category or the High Income Group individuals. The apartments under this category will be available at a starting price of Rs. 95 lakh and the prices might also reach up to 1.4 crore based on the location of the flat. There are even 3 BHK flats available to the HIG individuals with prices ranging between Rs. 1.43 crore and Rs. 1.73 crore. Coming to the MIG category or the Mid-Income Group individuals, there are a total of 1, 555 two-BHK apartments available with prices ranging between Rs. 66 lakh and Rs. 99 lakh.
There are a total of 8, 383 one-BHK flats available for the LIG category or the Low Income Group individuals at a starting price of Rs. 23 lakh. The maximum price for the flats available under the LIG category is Rs. 56 lakh. However, there is another category which is called the EWS or Economically Weaker Section category that has a total of 7, 496 apartments on offer for within prices ranging from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 19 lakh. Here, it is important to note that majority of the EWS, LIG and MID category apartments have their location in the Narela region while the HIG category apartments will be available at Vasant Kunj.
