The diversity in Oriental cuisine is very extensive. Too extensive to be offered in one menu. Therefore, our menu will change continuously. Only that way we will be able to bring the flavors of every direction of the Orient to the island. This menu suits everyone and every moment of the day.

The Senang table is a menu in which 6 dishes from the Orient are served around rice. In this way you can directly taste the diversity of the Orient. In addition we serve specials. Unique dishes such as shabu shabu, a beggar’s cock, and different variations of sushi. To finish it off, there is a snack menu, for the small appetite or when you want to create your own menu.

WE OFFER A DAILY WATER TAXI SERVICE TO THE BEAUTIFUL, UNINHABITED ISLAND OF KLEIN BONAIRE. YOU WILL BE DROPPED OFF AT THE PRISTINE, WHITE-SAND NO NAME BEACH. THE RAMPS AT THE FRONT OF OUR BOATS MAKE IT EASY AND SAFE TO WALK STRAIGHT ONTO THE BEACH WITH NOTHING BUT YOUR FEET GETTING WET!

DAILY WATER TAXI TO KLEIN BONAIRE

Klein Bonaire is surrounded by a beautiful coral reef that is home to thousands of tropical fish. Choose to snorkel by the shallow reef right next to the beach or if you’re a more experienced snorkeler, walk down the southern end of the beach until you see a break in the reef, carefully pass through this opening to the outside of the coral reef and enjoy your snorkel back to the main beach. If you do not feel like walking up the beach, ask our captain about our free drift snorkel option. He will take you down the southern end of the beach by boat where you can easily hop in the water next to the coral reef and let the current take you to No Name Beach. Whatever you choose to do, make sure to relax and take your time. Keep your eyes peeled for fish hiding in the coral and for turtles passing by.

The trail travels through the southern part of the island, visiting the lake with its flamingos and the mangroves along the way. So you ride up to the beach, swim with a horse in the ocean, ride back with your horse to the ranch. With experienced riders the ride contains trotting and galloping if the group allows it, depending on the experience of the participants.

DISCOVER BONAIRE

A professional guide will take you along the coast road to the north visiting Goto Lake with its beautiful vistas and, at times, many flamingos. The tour continues to the oldest settlement in the Dutch Caribbean, Rincon. We visit the “Museo Chichi Tan”, a typical old Bonairian home where you are offered a local refreshment, “awa lamunchi” and a small snack. Afterwards we will drive up “Seru Largu” for a nice Island view. Heading southeast to the mangroves, you will learn about the mangroves ecosystem and the creation of the thousands of years old coral surface for which Bonaire is famous. All this while you enjoy the view of the wonderful waters surrounding Sorobon Beach, one of the prettiest windsurf places in the Caribbean.

On our way back we will pass the salt pans with their breathtaking colours, the salt works and the slave huts. Ample explanation about these will be coming your way. Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire is committed to providing a protected life for all donkeys on Bonaire. Information is also given about the living environment of donkeys to the islanders, at schools and to tourists. Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire currently houses more than 700 donkeys. They are provided with food, drinking water and medical care and have a lot of space and freedom.

You are very welcome to visit Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire yourself. We would like to receive you in our shop to explain our activities.

You can also buy nice souvenirs here, the proceeds of which will of course go entirely to the donkeys. Then you can drive your own car among the hundreds of donkeys in our large park. The animals will be happy to come up to you and stick their snouts through the car window, hoping you brought them a treat.

Hiking begins at the foot of the Seru Largu. The hike goes over the top and then down to the Chani Wawa trail. Along this trail there are many historical Bonairean trees to be seen. The hike continues to Chanti Wawa hill. At the top of the hill there is a beautiful view of the canyon. We return to the Seru Largu monument where you experience the breathtaking sight of the island. A great place to take pictures of Kralendijk and Klein Bonaire. Seru Largu means “large hill”. From here we walk back down the hill and return to the waiting bus or cars.
