TEAM Green

THE DC PROMISE

WE PREPARE STUDENTS FOR A LIFE OF IMPACT THROUGH AN INNOVATIVE & EXEMPLARY EDUCATION ROOTED IN CHRIST.

OUR

TO EDUCATE STUDENTS WHO WILL SERVE GOD AND IMPACT THE WORLD THROUGH BIBLICAL THOUGHT AND ACTION.

MISSION

Core Values

Rooted in Christ

All we do, teach, and learn is rooted in Christ.

Scholarship

We cultivate our God-given intellects and become passionate, lifelong learners.

Excellence

Doing everything to the Glory of God compels us to excellence.

Community

Our diverse community values partnership, collaboration, and strong personal relationships.

Servanthood

As servant-leaders, we recognize our calling to influence culture for good.

Impact

Reasoning critically and acting biblically, we are equipped to impact the world for Christ.

Connecting at

Educating a child takes collaboration between the home and school. We are always looking for ways to engage families in the life of the school and enhance our students' educational learning opportunities.

There are many ways to engage in the life of Delaware County Christian School. When you volunteer, we hope you will engage with a heart for the Lord and a willingness to work alongside other volunteers in a way that glorifies Him and honors the work He is doing in the lives of our young people.

On the next few pages, you will find lists of ways to become engaged in your child’s educational experience at DC. Much is learned in the classroom, but much can also be learned when living in community with one another. A simple reminder: God does not call the equipped, but He does equip those He calls. Be open to how the Lord is calling you in service and how you can begin to add your PLUS ONE to the daily life of DC. Please pray for our students, faculty, staff, and the greater DC community. We look forward to partnering with you to make DC the best it can be, to the glory of God and for His mission.

“THERE ARE VARIETIES OF GIFTS, BUT THE SAME SPIRIT. AND THERE ARE VARIETIES OF SERVICE, BUT THE SAME LORD. AND THERE ARE VARIOUS ACTIVITIES, BUT THE SAME GOD EMPOWERS THEM ALL IN EVERYONE. TO EACH IS GIVEN THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SPIRIT

FOR THE COMMON GOOD” I Corinthians 12:4-7

Giving

The Fund for DC is an annual effort in which we invite all members of the greater DC family to unite to support our school mission. Tuition covers the day-to-day expenses of running the school. The Fund for DC enables us to provide additional opportunities that enhance the educational learning experiences of our students and reach our strategic goals.

The Fund supports efforts like field trips to guest speakers, athletics to the arts, and robotics to Hi-Q. By supporting the Fund for DC, you invest in these enhancements for current and future students. We are blessed to have a history of generous supporters giving gifts at all levels. Each gift makes a difference, regardless of the amount.

We have set our sights on 100% participation from our Board of Trustees, Faculty and Staff, and our parent community. We invite you to pray about your gift this year and how you can make a difference.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
