Deerfield Youth Baseball and Softball Association (DYBA)

For more than 60 years, DYBA and DYSBA have been a part of the fabric of Deerfield, Bannockburn, Riverwoods and the surrounding communities. Three generations of families continue to participate in DYBA activities throughout the year. Games, practices and special events promote, teach and develop physical skills, mental strength and high moral character. The diamond is a great place to learn and develop skills and make friendships that last a lifetime. DYBA and DYSBA offer spring and summer house leagues for all ages – preschool through post-college years, as well as a fall league for T-Ballers. Plus, the organization’s travel teams include programming around the year and games throughout the spring and summer. Celebrating the spirit of community, DYBA and DYSBA host a collection of tournaments and events that showcase the desire many have to carry on the organization’s tradition of excellence. Coho Swim Club
The COHO Swim Club is a developmental and competitive swimming club. COHO is a sponsored organization of the Deerfield Park District and an affiliated organization of the Park District of Highland Park. Our mission is to provide coaches, facilities, and support for increased proficiency in competitive amateur swimming; to encourage and develop sound swimming skills, to develop good sportsmanship, individual integrity and a supportive and positive team atmosphere. In keeping with our philosophy of providing a well-rounded, quality developmental and competitive program for swimmers of all ages and abilities, the COHO Swim Club offers professional technique instruction and training. Deerfield Family Theater
Deerfield Family Theater is a sponsored program of the Deerfield Park District providing familyfriendly entertainment since the start of the millennium! Auditions for Deerfield Family Theater performances are typically held in August, with shows presented in November. Affiliate/Sponsored Groups Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA) provides and facilitates year-round recreation and leisure opportunities for children, teens and adults with disabilities who live in 13 northern suburban communities including Deerfield.

Serving approximately 1,600 individuals with disabilities, NSSRA participants range in age from preschoolers, youth and teens through young adults, adults and seniors. NSSRA has nearly 500 recreation, sport, cultural and social programs and events throughout the year, creating new experiences, opportunities for skill development, leisure time, and most importantly, friendship.
Coho Swim Club
NSSRA’s Inclusion support option provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy full participation in partner agency programs while receiving the individualized one-on-one support they need to succeed. Through its programs and services, NSSRA removes the barriers that might prevent an individual with disabilities from full participation in the fun and richness of experience that life has to offer.
