Their future starts here. The Discovery Learning Center at the Deerfield Park District is a developmental play-based preschool program. Our child-centric curriculum provides children aged 2 ½ – 5 years old the opportunity to explore, solve problems and make discoveries in a secure and nurturing environment under the guidance of our experienced teachers.
Our Philosophy The Discovery Learning Center is a place where friendships are fostered as young children prepare and develop skills needed for a lifetime of learning.

Important Dates PROGRAM DATES • Discovery Learning Center: Begins the Tuesday after Labor Day, ends the Thursday before Memorial Day. • Discovery Club starts the second week of school. REGISTRATION • Registration is currently open for the 2025-2026 School Year
Discovery Learning Center and Discovery Club Registration and Refund Policy The initial monthly tuition payment for each Discovery Learning Center program and Discovery Club is required at the time of registration, serving as a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. The remaining balance can be paid in full at the time of registration or in eight monthly installments, starting July 1.
