Singhania University located in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan was established by an Act of State Legislature of Rajasthan. It is a Private University and empowered to award degrees as specified under Section 22 of the UGC Act at its main campus i.e. Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan with the approval of Statutory ‘Councils’, wherever required. Singhania University provides numerous postgraduate and graduate courses including B.Sc, PG Diploma, BJMC, UG Diploma. The pass out students of the Universities holding the MBBS or MD or MS degrees are the certified practitioners now as per Rule(ee) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.
