Peace of mind Limited lifetime warranty
All DECOLAV products come with a limited lifetime warranty, meaning that you can rest assured that quality is guaranteed. Any Deco Lav, Inc. (“DECOLAV”) product(s), sold after June 1, 2014, will be warranted to the original end consumer to be free of true defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the consumer owns his or her home subject to the following:
This limited warranty does not apply to local building code compliance. Since local building codes vary considerably, the original end consumer of the product(s) should check with a local building or plumbing contractor to ensure local code compliance prior to installation.
• Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original end consumer must be made available to DECOLAV for all warranty claims. • The person claiming a warranty issue must be able to establish original purchase and installation of the product. • Authorized DECOLAV personnel have inspected the product(s) and determined the product(s) to have true manufacturing defect(s) (unless other arrangements satisfactory to DECOLAV have been agreed upon). • Such product(s) are returned to DECOLAV (unless other arrangements satisfactory to DECOLAV have been agreed upon). The product must have been purchased, directly or indirectly, • through an authorized DECOLAV reseller.
If you believe that you have a valid warranty claim, contact your Home Center, Dealer, Plumbing Contractor or E-tailer. Please be sure to provide all pertinent information regarding your claim, including a complete description of the problem, the product, model number, the date the product was purchased, from whom the product was purchased and the installation date and location. This limited warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original end consumer and to the original installation of the product. DECOLAV’s product are produced from natural raw materials and there may be a slight color variance from product appearing in catalogs, brochures, web-sites, or product samples, or prior production. These are not examples of manufacturing defects and will not be covered under this warranty. This limited warranty does not cover any mechanical pieces of any DECOLAV product. These mechanical pieces will be covered under a One Year Warranty, with all other terms of this warranty applying except duration. DECOLAV® is proud of the vast range of materials and finishes that we use in all of our products to give you the quality and style that every bathroom design deserves. All of our products are easy to care for and require minimal attention to keep them looking as new as the day you installed them.
Installation When installing your vanity it is recommended that you keep it out of direct sources of extreme heat (such as sunlight or a radiator) and extreme cold. Allowing this to happen may cause warping or cracking of the wood or the countertop. Also, it is a good idea to think about using felt, leather or cork pads under the legs of certain products to stop them from damaging wooden or tile flooring; it also isn’t recommended that you slide the product over such surfaces.
Maintenance Dusting the pieces frequently keeps them looking smart. Remember to dust along the grain to preserve the wood’s distinct characteristics. Try to make sure you only use products that are made for cleaning wood, avoid using products that apply oily polishes, waxes or silicone as this will detrimentally change the finish of your product. If you are unsure of the effect that your cleaning product may have, try using it on a discrete location such as the inside of a door to test it out.
Immediate Care For spills onto wooden areas or countertops it is best to clean them up immediately. It is recommended that you dry them off right away with a soft cloth to prevent waterspots being left behind.
