Sixteen Standard T-12 Cool White fluorescent tubes (640 watts) illuminate these clones that are ready to transplant. Clones are rooted in flats of Grodan rockwool. With more than 100 individual one-inch cubes per flat and abundant light, clones are ready to transplant after 14 days of rooting. Kfrom Trichome Technologies settled on Vita-GrowRooting Compound (hormone) after trying a myriad of other brands. Roots are not visible because they growout the bottom of cubes and as you can see foliage is already growing toward the lights. Aclear dome covers clones to maintain humidity at 80 percent. Humidity decreases to 60 percent when domes are removed to harden-off clones for transplanting. The growers keep the temperature at 80째F(26.5째C) both day and night.
Both clones and seedlings are growing in this garden. The grower roots the clones and seedlings. Then he moves them to the next tray to resume vegetative growth. Once plants have grown for three weeks in the vegetative growth stage, they are ready to move into the flowering room.

This clone setup is about as simple as you can get. The grower hung two 40-watt fluorescents over a tray of clones covered with a humidity dome. Every day the grower removes the dome to check moisture content and the health of clones.
