Equipment Orientation /Fitness Assessments The DISC’s free equipment orientation sessions and fitness assessments are a real perk for all facility pass holders. Equipment orientations will help you learn how to make the most of each machine and get you started with a workout plan. During fitness assessments, staff will evaluate your height, weight, resting heart rate, blood pressure, body mass index, body fat percentage, and more. You’ll receive an explanation of your results and how they affect your health. Contact Abby Lowe or Jeff Rounds to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Personal Training Personal training is available to all DISC members and non-members at an additional cost. We offer individual, couple and group personal training rates and packages. Come alone or get fit together! Contact the DISC to sign up today.

“Test Drive” a Saturday Fitness Class!

Saturdays, November - February, 9 - 9:45 a.m. Thinking about taking a fitness class but not sure you’ll like it? “Test Drive” the DISC’s fitness classes every Saturday morning! Each Saturday a different class will be offered for just $2. This is the perfect change to experience the variety of classes the DISC offers!

Group Fitness Classes Group Fitness classes are offered throughout the year. Schedules are updated regularly. Pick up a monthly calendar at the DISC or check decatur-parks.org for new offerings!

Body Sculpting This popular class is a safe and effective way to gain muscle mass, increase bone strength, improve balance and coordination, and gain more energy and stamina. Using dumbbells and steps to tone muscles, it’s a great class for men and women of all ages!

Cardio Blast Start your day with a blast with high-intensity interval training! If you’re looking to improve your cardio endurance, muscle and core strength, or overall athletic enhancement, this blast is for you!

Boot Camp Get in shape fast with this workout! Improve endurance cardiovascular fitness, and muscle strength through a variety of exercises. This class incorporates a variety of workouts including circuit training, body sculpting and interval training. Come prepared to work hard!

Fitness Infusion Enhance your overall fitness with this low-impact mix of stretching, core strengthening, and balance. Benefits include increased flexibility, core strengthening, and fitness-related injury prevention.

KettleWorX
