Hello, we are ideafuel. We are a group of enthusiastic creatives with the experience and knowledge to add a little something to your business – be it a brochure, a website, or even a whole new identity. We believe that solutions begin with understanding. That’s why we take the time to get to know you and your company so that the solution we present you with is a perfect fit for you. Our name, ideafuel, refers to what inspires us and the importance we place in ideas. Loads of things trigger ideas and, because good ideas are vital, we thought we’d share with you some of the things that motivate and inspire us. Our ideafuel.
we love trees*
* so we do our bit to make sure there are still plenty here, doing their thing and providing valuable habitats for wildlife. Where possible we specify recycled papers or papers from managed sources (FSC approved). We’d be happy to talk to you about how you could make your project more sustainable and environmentally responsible.
we love a bit of history* * because awareness of history can help to tie work down, giving it a sense of place; because history inspires us to think about the longevity of our work and the impact it might have on the future; and because where you come from can be as important as where you are going.
we love a nice cup of coffee*
* scientific studies suggest that caffeine consumption can aide the imagination and increase attention span. Plus it tastes really good too.
we love conversations with interesting people*
* okay, perhaps not quite that interesting but we certainly find that a lot of great ideas come from sitting down for a bit of a chat with people who have a different perspective to ours.
we love words*
* because, like poets, we understand that words can hold great power, we believe in choosing the right words for the right places.
we love ideas*
* and the super-computers that generate them – our brains. It’s a bit obvious, we know, because ideas are our currency, but we love them. Even the bad ones, and especially the silly ones. Wherever they come from and whatever gets them flowing.
we love an old camera or two*
* a lot of people collect something. Within the ideafuel team we have collectors of old cameras, old sewing machines, old typewriters and admirers of old planes (the planes are a bit too big to collect, apparently). Yup, we love a bit of finely-crafted machinery. We love the whirl and the click of real things moving, making things happen. Not that we’re adverse to a bit of modern technology, but there’s something beautiful about an object that still works because it was well made.
