Tel Aviv Israel but Saturday night is pure electro. This month Shop Carousel is a unique shop that sells furniture and items designed especially for kids. For décor inspiration for the little ones, or a few easy-to-takehome accessories, this is the spot (27 Rothschild Boulevard, tel: 03 560 3750). See When the TMarket festival started a few years ago it was a small underground venture. Now it has become a huge bazaar dedicated entirely to the world’s most versatile piece of clothing, the T-shirt. Dozens of local designers sell cool and original T-shirts for around ILS100, while great music and lots of beer make this in to a lively event. This year the festival runs from 3–5 April (Barzilay Club, 13 Harechev Street). Go April is the perfect time of the year to take a walk down the Tel Aviv boardwalk. It’s not too hot, you’re guaranteed beautiful sunsets, and there are

plenty of restaurants in the area to sit down and sip delicious sundowners. Escape Holon is just 20 minutes from Tel Aviv by taxi or bus.
