Application Packet Leona S. and Jeanette Heptner Scholarship General Information Each year one or more undergraduate or graduate student(s) in the UW College of Education will be selected as the recipient(s) of the Leona S. and Jeanette Heptner Scholarship. Deadline is the last Friday of January of each year.
Selection Criteria Selection will be made from applicants who most completely meet the following minimum criteria: 1. Enrolled in the College of Education 2. Completion of at least two years of undergraduate study OR enrollment as a graduate or returning student. 3. Financial need may be a consideration. 4. Preference may be given first to residents of Campbell County, Wyoming, then Wyoming residents from outside of Campbell County. Third preference is given to out-of-state students
Selection Process Selection will be made annually by the UW College of Education Heptner Scholarship Selection Committee. The funds associated with the scholarship will be disbursed in a split manner, e.g., one-half in the first semester and the second half at the beginning of the second semester. You are asked to submit a copy of your transcript(s) with the attached Leona S. and Jeanette Heptner Scholarship Application. Your completed application and supporting material must reach the Dean’s Office by 5 p.m on the last Friday in January.
