Deanna Kyrimis

Driven by a deep commitment to serving underserved populations, Deanna Kyrimis has pioneered healthcare models to provide equitable care to all. Her unwavering dedication to patient-centered approaches has resulted in innovative care models prioritizing quality and fostering collaboration among stakeholders, including payers, providers, systems, and patients. Since her early involvement with the first accountable care organization in Arizona in 2012, Kyrimis has been instrumental in developing multi-state strategies that enhance the quality of care while simultaneously reducing costs across integrated networks of hospitals, physicians, and ancillary providers. Kyrimis's educational background is equally impressive, having obtained her master's degree in organizational leadership from the prestigious University of Oxford in Oxfordshire, England. Currently pursuing a doctorate of science degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she continues to expand her knowledge and expertise in the healthcare field. Outside of her professional endeavors, Kyrimis actively engages in philanthropic work and is deeply involved with various charities and nonprofit organizations. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring new destinations, and nurturing her long-standing passion for Taekwondo. Additionally, she cherishes moments of tranquility amidst nature and finds solace in the power of a good book. As Vice President with CommonSpirit: Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, based in Seattle, Washington, Kyrimis assumes executive oversight for the esteemed Virginia Mason Medical Center's hospital operations. Her responsibilities encompass perioperative and procedural services, outpatient and ambulatory surgery centers, specialty physician enterprises, and more.
