Section II. NCO shift change briefing format. 1. At a minimum the SGM will ensure NCOs conduct their own internal shift change using this format. The CP is most vulnerable to a breakdown of information flow when there is a changeover of personnel. The outgoing shift must brief the incoming shift in detail to ensure that all critical information is passed.
