To begin the semester as a class we split up into partners to study a house for the first few weeks.

Original Drawings Given the small amount of drawings provided by the Architects of the Newberg Residence, we had to recreate the orthographic drawings
Recreated Drawings
The Newberg Residence’s relationship with the environment is its most important feature. This is influenced by its location in a forest over top of a pond.
Alongside the drawings we were tasked to build models with site context. This process would teach very valuable lessons about scale and elevation.
