The Fitness and Wellness Education Center is a fully equipped fitness center with cardiovascular machines, jogging track, free and machine weights, and an elevated wood floor for aerobics, volleyball or basketball. The Center also provides exercise machines for physically challenged individuals. All students enrolling in a PED course will complete a health history and informed consent form. If any pre-existing conditions or risk factors are discovered, the students may be required to provide a medical release from his/her physician. Medical release forms are available from the PED office. Any student enrolling in a PED course held on campus can utilize the Fitness Center during open lab for additional exercise time. This additional time will not count towards your grade unless your instructor has given approval. A student wanting to audit a PED course must indicate his/her intent at the time of registration. Audit students can attend the section he/she enrolls in and all lab hours, but must adhere to the instruction being given.
