Dana Bass began her career more than 15 years ago after graduating cum laude with a B.A. in interior design, first designing imaginative hospitality interiors. Her work was quickly noticed, which led to residential interior design. Bass, ASID chair elect, has extensive knowledge of construction, project management, finishes, and furnishings, always infusing unexpected textures, patterns, layering elements, and color combinations. She draws from her world travels and is adept at picking up on cues from her clients so they feel right at home when they see the finished product. “I help clients find their own style so I can deliver a one-of-a-kind design that is tailored to who they are and how they live.” Bass’ strength is her range of styles; she doesn’t design single look on repeat and her designs are evolving and fresh. “I enjoy getting into the guts of a home, modifying the layout and architecture so homes truly reflect who my clients are and to achieve my motto—Dream it. Love it. Live it.”
