LETTER FROM OUR PRINCIPAL Jim Friesema Welcome

GREETINGS,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Belvidere North High School! Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming environment for our student-athletes and our fans.

In order to be able to watch and support our athletes, we must create a safe venue for them to compete at. As a school we must follow the guidelines that are established by the IHSA and Illinois Department of Health. If you are unsure of what the guidelines are, please ask a games manager and they will clarify it for you.

We also expect all students and fans to show good sportsmanship. Please follow the following expectations when cheering for your team, in order to create a welcoming atmosphere for all fans and athletes:

● Be respectful to all officials, players, coaches and fans.

● Use appropriate language.

● Recognize and show appreciation for an outstanding play for either team.

I would also like to invite you to join our Booster Club that is composed of volunteers who give their time and talents on a regular basis. Please get involved and help provide these rich experiences for our students at Belvidere North High School by becoming a member of our Booster Club.

Finally, I would like to thank you for all of your support of our student athletes. Student-athletes must have a strong support system, which many of you are a part of.
