AN INTRODUCTION TO THE NEW SEASON
Everything begins with a longing, and so did this season.
After a summer that felt endless, it was time to return to work on SS26, which had quietly begun at the start of 2025. The days grew shorter, the light softer. Leaves began to turn, and our sun kissed faces of the past two months slowly cooled, just like the air outside. That familiar ache, the longing for a few more weeks of summer, stirred again, stronger than ever. And somewhere in that moment, we decided: yes, let’s simply bring ourselves back to summer.
Said and done. A trip to Gotland was booked. The Swedish island where summer seems to never really end; exactly what our hearts were craving. Still, we didn’t want to drift too far from our small-town roots. So we found a friend from home, Matilda, and spent a day at her place with her family There, amid plantings, a bit of an organised mess, and finally a summer party, a day unfolded that felt just like those endless ones we’d missed. And for a second, our faces seemed sunny again.
Part of what you’re holding in your hands, these pages, are the result of that final summer day. We hope that, just as it did for us, it will transport you to your own perfect summer day, wherever you are, whenever you find yourself reading this.

AFTER THE RAIN
