EXH 71 ORCHARD AT ALTAPASS MASTER PLAN
The Orchard at Altapass Master Plan recommends improvements to facilities, parking, and vehicular circulation. An improved Orchard u-pick orientation area and picnic shelter with multi-use patio and firepit offers visitors a better experience and gathering space. A mini-amphitheater and overlook area provides an additional outdoor event and educational venue. New landscaping and additional parking areas will direct visitors and vehicles through the site more efficiently. Master plan implementation may require approval by the National Park Service.
