Returning to Tochimizolco

Thank you to our Dayspring family for all the donations and prayers we received this year making our week of caring possible.

The caravan was well received and much needed in this small community in Mexico. Reuniting with our brothers and sisters was a blessing for all and warmed our hearts the minute we stepped off the bus.

We had over 1,100 points of contact with patients in the health, dental and eye clinics collectively.

Our team counseled on health and nutrition, provided vitamins and medications, diagnosed a serious heart condition, treated 3rd degree burns, donated money to buy one of the kitchen staff supportive shoes, saw joy in the eyes of the owner of a positive pregnancy test, prayed and counseled for those in abusive situations and suffering from depression along with many other ailments and chronic conditions.

The villagers cared for us in their usual manner, like we were part of their family. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to serve God through our work with Tochimizolco.
