Meet the Experts

Look MoM, No ALLergieS! “As long as he’s healthy” is the sentiment of every expectant family as they prepare for their newborn. But, far too often children’s health can take a turn for the worst when it comes to allergies and food sensitivities. In fact, kids can be so reactive to certain allergens that school buses, classrooms, restaurants and just about every part of their environment goes on lock down. With a recent scientific breakthrough, a Laser beam passed along special points on the body allows many allergic symptoms to become a thing of the past and practically overnight! Dr. Dwaine Allison who works with functional neurology and a device called the BAX3000, has documented numerous successful case studies, affecting even children, over the past year. “I’ve had participants in my research come from as far as Charleston, Indianapolis, and upper Michigan”, says Dr. Allison. “And, the results are better than

anything I’ve seen in the past 25 years!” It’s surprising how many conditions can be triggered by allergies and various food sensitivities. Conditions like Migraines, Chronic Fatigue, Heart Arrhythmias, Hearing Loss, and skin problems such as Eczema and Psoriasis, can occur. Such reactions are often due to an over-active immune system, which may lead to many inflammatory type problems. People sometimes don’t see how using a light beam can do this. Yet, Dr. Bruce Lipton PhD. world renowned cellular biologist, says that “Cells respond one hundred times faster to frequencies, than to chemical stimulation,” and why not? As recent science has shown, the body itself is a collection of light waves. So, Dr. Allison is treating light with light. As one mother put it “Seeing my three girls get over their severe eczema has been worth everything to our family!”

Children’s Dentistry 101 When should my child first see the dentist?

Why so early? Babies don’t even have teeth!

What are children dental sealants?

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends your child’s first visit to the dentist be before their first birthday. “First visit by first birthday” sums it up quite nicely. Your child should visit a pediatric dentist when the first tooth comes in, usually between 6 and 12 months of age. This visit will establish a dental home for your child. Early examination and preventive care will protect your child’s smile now and in the future

The most important reason to start so early is to begin a thorough prevention program. Dental problems can begin at a very young age. One example is “Early Childhood Caries” (formerly know as baby bottle tooth decay). Once children’s diet consists of anything besides breast-milk, erupted teeth are at risk for decay. The earlier the dental visit, the better chances of preventing dental problems.

A dental sealant is a plastic coating applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth. Grooves in these teeth are so narrow that a toothbrush cannot fit into the spaces to remove plaque which can cause cavities and tooth decay. Sealants provide protection from dental decay and cavities. Children should receive sealants on permanent molars as soon as they erupt (about 6 and 12 years.)
