here’s nothing quite like basking in the glow of Christmas lights during the holiday season. This year, your family can look forward to a whole new illuminating experience, and it’s happening at the Nashville Sounds’ First Tennessee Park. GLOW Nashville promises to be Nashville’s brightest outing, running 36 nights from Nov. 22 - Dec. 31. “From over-the-top ice skating and tubing experiences to meeting Santa in his workshop, GLOW is full of experiences that young kids will enjoy,” says Chris Stacey, founder and CEO of GLOW Nashville. “Visitors will be transported to a world of Christmas wonder from the time they step onto the field. Everywhere you look, there will be twinkling light displays and spectacularly lit structures,” he adds.

peek at the elves hard at work. Kids can have fun playing reindeer games, too. There’s an ice-skating rink with a three-story-tall frozen fortress as well as the Reindeer Run Tube Park; it’s a 32-foot-tall, 170-footlong tube ride build over the stadium seats. You can also make a dent in your holiday shopping list in the Winter Fest Market boasting more than 25 craft vendors. If you need a break from the cold, head into the Mistletoe Cafe for a soothing cup of cocoa and live entertainment. Stacey says to allot up to two hours to get the full GLOW experience during this new annual outing that will come with new light displays every subsequent year so it’s always fresh. GLOW operates Tue - Sun 4 - 10 p.m. (plus Mondays, Dec. 23 & 30). Tickets are $29.99 adults, $19.99 ages 3 - 12, $89.99 for a family pack (two adults, two kids), $79.99 VIP Experience (includes a buffet meal, premium parking plus other perks). There’s a general admission discount Tue & Wed. Ice skating is an additional $10; tubing an extra $4. For more info and tickets, go to glowholiday.com.
