iddle Tennessee has a new attraction opening on Monday, June 7, and it’s the only country music mansion tour in the Nashville area. The Mansion at Fontanel, located in Whites Creek, is the former home of country music legend Barbara Mandrell, and guided tours let visitors get up close and personal with photos, memorabilia and personal items from the Mandrell family history in the 20-plus rooms of the house. Other artifacts on display belong to country artists including Kenny Chesney, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson and more. In addition to the mansion tour, enjoy free hiking trails, an outdoor music venue and The Farm House Restaurant featuring a “farm to fork” menu. Look for a review of the mansion experience on our Web site after opening day. Fontanel is located at 4225 Whites Creek Pike. Admission is $19 adults, $9 ages 6 - 15, free ages 5 and younger.
