To update all the readers, following is the text of Br. Fida Nayani's question followed by Maulana Dawoodani's reply on the book "AgaKhanism & Its Institutions" ---------From: FIDA HUSSAIN <fidahwa@g...........> Date: Thu, Jul 19, 2012 at 8:14 AM Subject: Re: Request Dear Dawoodani Sahib, I think the quote of Aayatullah Murtuza Mutahheri here, is out of place and an impression is generating that the Late Aayatullah (may Allah raise his standards in heavens and who met martyrdom on 1st May, 1979) was also against the current educational system of Agakhan. What the Aayatullah has said is an historical observation about the roles played by various communities in Islamic history. Had Islam been against any community for its beliefs, I would request you to please explain the context of the following two sayings of Imam Ali (a.s): "Knowledge is the lost treasure of a faithful. Acquire it, even if it be from a polytheist (mushrik) as you deserve it more than him". Knowledge is the lost treasure of a faithful. Acquire it, even if it be from a hypocrite (munafiq). Fida Hussain Nayani -------------------From: Muhammad Raza Dawoodani <dawoodani@g..............> Date: Mon, Jul 23, 2012 at 11:25 PM Subject: My Response to Brother Fida Nayani Dear Brother Fida Nayani Salam-un-Alaikum Thanks for your comments and feedback. Your Point:

Had Islam been against any community for its beliefs, My Reply: Well, yes Islam is against mushrikeen for their shirk. Refer starting ayaat of Sura-e-Tauba. If this is not so then what is the meaning of La Ilaha Illa-Allah? Islam is against the priests and rabbis of Christians and Jews who intentionally refuse the Prophethood of the last and final Prophet (SAWW). Kindly refer to the related verses of Sura-e-Baqara. Also analyze

the second part of Shahadah "Muhammad (SAWW) is (the last and final) Prophet of Allah" clearly implies that any false claimant of being prophet after him can not be accepted or promoted in any form. Similarly Islam is against those communities who do not believe in 12 lawful Imams and Imamat of Imam Mehdi (AS). You may refer to Khulufa-e-Ithna Ashar by Allama Talib Johri to see the references of not only Shia , Sunni sources but also from the old testament in this regard. For your further reading, I would suggest Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri's Al-qol ul Mautabar fil Imam al Muntazar and Hadiyat-ul Mehdi (AS) by Maulana Wahid uz Zaman. Dont forget that the former is Barelvi Aalim and the later is Ahl-e-Hadees. I think you have somehow missed the concept of Tabarra along with Tawalla in the case of Masoomeen (AS). Hence, Islam is against communities on the basis of their belief and asks us to invite them to the right path and for that we have to disown the idols, wrong claimants of Prophet hood and Imamat. Promotion of their name/title by getting affiliated to any such institution is not acceptable as mentioned in the book many times. Rest assure, I believe in peaceful co existence but not in affiliation with such institutions. About The Ahadees Your Point:

I would request you to please explain the context of the following two sayings of Imam Ali (a.s): "Knowledge is the lost treasure of a faithful. Acquire it, even if it be from a polytheist (mushrik) as you deserve it more than him". Knowledge is the lost treasure of a faithful. Acquire it, even if it be from a hypocrite (munafiq). My Reply: Let me try to explain you the meaning of the ahadees with following examples: 1) Islam teaches us about cleanliness. There are Muslim and non Muslim countries and cities like Iran, UAE, Canada etc who keep their areas clean. Just because majority of Canadians are nonMuslim, Islam would not ask you to be dirty. Does this require affiliation? 2) Refer Nehj-ul-Balagah. Hazrat Ali (AS) complained that the followers of Muawia were loyal to him despite the fact that he was a wrong Imam and there were so called Shias who were not loyal to Mola Ali (AS), although he is a legitimate and lawful Imam. To understand this loyalty, do you need to get affiliated with Muawia or his army? 3) If you don't mind, I'd like to give the example of AgaKhanis also. Will they be party to any institution who is against the imamat of Agakhan? I request you to "learn" this thing from them. Be loyal to your Imam and don't promote his false claimant of Imamat. Does this learning need any affiliation with their institution? 4) AgaKhanis will never go against the commandments of AgaKhan. I request you to be loyal to the commandments of your legitimate Imam-e-Zamana (AJ). Along with Quranic Ayaat and Ahadees , I have mentioned the opinions of Maraje and scholars in the book who are our guides during the days of Major occultation.

Well , for your further reading , here I share with you an extract containing the statement of AgaKhanIII (ref: http://mostmerciful.com/?p=343) The splinter group renounced the leadership of Aga Khan and established the Khojah Ithna’ashriyya Jama’at in Bombay. From there it spread to the rest of India and Africa. Due to this split many Khojah families in India and Africa were divided. They continue to remain so, until now. Today, Khojah Ismailis say; “Ithna’ashri Khojahs are the Dissidents.” The Khojah Ithna’ashris say; “Ismaili Khojahs are the one who have abandoned the faith of their forefathers.” The frustrated Aga Khan made a religious pronouncement (Farman), ordering his followers to sever all social and religious contacts with these so called Dissidents. Any of his follower, taking part in the marriage, or mourning of a Dissident could be excommunicated by the Ismailia Council, under the Rule Number 142 of the `Ismailia Constitution’, ordained by the Aga Khan. The hatred between the two groups took a violent turn. Aga Khan’s Mukhi (Chief Priest) for Bombay – Hassan, was stabbed with a knife by an Ithna’ashri named Killu. Earlier, some Ismaili fanatics had severely beaten Killu and made him temporarily invalid. Killu admitted to the killing and was sentenced to death by hanging. The court trials, as well as the subsequent funeral procession and burial of Killu, brought the Dissident Khojahs out in the open. In 1901, two Ismaili `Fida’is’ (the terminology has its root in the `self sacrificing’ Nizari Ismailis of the 12th century, known as the `Assassins of Alamut’) attacked three Dissidents. Two Ithna’ashris died and one survived. Aga Khan’s deep rooted hatred for the faith of his parents and grand parents (Ithna’ashrism) is glaringly visible in the quoted `Farman’ made by him from Zanzibar on July 13, 1899. “Within ten, twenty or thirty years, the Ithna’ashri religion will be worn out. After 100 years the Ithna’ashri religion will not exist at all. It will not exist in Iran either because that religion’s base is not on Aq’l (the power of reasoning). Our religion’s base is on Aq’l.” (Translation is from the Book of Farmans in Gujarati).

My comments: Alhamd-o-lillah this is 2012 and you see for yourself the fate of the prediction of so called "Mawalana Hazir Imam". Islamic revolution in Iran has strengthened the Ithna Asheri Faith and alhamd-o-lillah they exist throughout the world. Well I request you to ponder; is it appropriate to promote the title of AgaKhan who wants to wipe out the Ithna Asheris from the world? Do you know what AgaKhan's approach was in Iran before revolution? What he tried to achieve from his so called educational system? Kindly go through the scanned page from Dr. Farhad Daftari's book's urdu version (here & here). This might be an eye opener for many. AgaKhan becomes happy when he sees that the ladies have left their hijab and chadar and considers it to be an indicator of progress. I strongly believe that our institutions and our community are under attack. After getting failed in achieving the target set by AgaKhan-III within the deadline of 100 years, agents are planted in the schools run by Ithna Asheri management. I wish the trustees and Board members of these schools understand this conspiracy and do the needful. About Ayatullah Mutahhari: If you read the statement of Ayatullah Mutahhari on the back cover and also the text inside the book where he discusses the importance of Sha'air-e-Islami, you will realize the approach of Ayatullah Mutahhari. The book is about AgaKhanism and its institutions. The back cover containing Ayatullah Mutahhari's quote is about AgaKhanism and other ismaili sects. Inside the book you will find Ayatullah Mutahhari advocating to protect Sha'air-e-Islami and be away from promoting false symbols. May I request you to kindly go through the book with an open mind to understand the point clearly.

InshaAllah I will be delivering a lecture on Ayatullah Mutahhari's opinion about Insan-e-Kamil at Shaheed Hamid Ali Bhojani Hall . I invite you to attend the seminar and have a meeting if you like. My Dear Fida Bhai, Kindly dont forget me and other momineen in your prayers specially during the month of Ramadhan. Thank you very much. Wassalam Muhammad Raza Dawoodani.
