PROTEIN SNACKIFICATION ‘Snackification’ - consumers are replacing their meals with snacks, which has led to a burst of innovation in the protein snacking category. Searches for high protein lunch and dinners are up 34% and protein snacks up +45% (Waitrose). Mealtimes are no longer defined as the traditional breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
