The Port Planning Process

3 | The Port Planning Process

The FPH masterplanning process was designed to ensure that world’s best practice in strategic port planning was brought into the plan, whilst also ensuring that localised factors and complexities were also fully considered.

Additionally, the various subtleties at each of the ports under Flinders Ports’ control needed to be investigated to ensure that the plan was holistic and not slanted towards any one port. This involved the delivery of multiple formal reports and technical memorandums across the span of the study.
