This year Spotlight School of Performing Arts will take to the stage with “Over the Rainbow”. Performers from the tender age of 3 right up to master class students of 17 will dazzle audiences as they showcase their talents. Singing and dancing as they face evil witches and misunderstood wizards this promises to be a show to remember. Join these dazzling students as they follow their yellow brick road.

Young at Heart Young at Heart is the perfect title for this uplifting life affirming documentary following the exploits of a group of extremely active senior citizens, who sing their way through their Golden Years. Tinged with real life drama, the documentary follows a cast of characters through their preparations, leading to a major performance of some get up and go music. Acclaimed worldwide the documentary has been a hit with young and old alike and leaves one with a broad smiling admiration for these truly Young at Heart. A must see. Screened by The Network for Older People in conjunction with dlr County Council, as part of the Bealtaine Festival 2011, celebrating creativity in older Age.
