PROJECT: Hyperview studio YEAR: 2016


During the cultural event “ Parma 360° ” an artistic installation of immersive 3D reality was realized in one of the rooms of Palazzo Eucherio Sanvitale in Parma, inside Duke’s park. The work included the architectural design of the environment, its digital restitution, and animation processing through an equirectangular rendering system for 360° viewing. The video was then uploaded to a Gear VR device and left available to the audience for the duration of the event. VISUAL MAPPING PROJECT

Modeling and animation of the Governor’s Palace in Parma for the proposal of an artistic installation of visual mapping. The 3D Model of the Governor’s Palace was built using dwg and photographic surveys. 2D and 3D animations were later added to create a video to for a future projection onto the facade using appropriate instrumentation. This is a test for the Interior designer Role in a fashion company. To expose the new Christmas collection the candidate had to create the concept and different 2D/3D drawings of the project. In this case i realized two different solutions starting from the ideas of gift box and Christmas tree.

THE COMIC MUSEUM OF PARMA

An ambitious project in one of the largest parks of the city: a requalification of an understimated area creating a cultural pole, with museum, library, conference rooms and shops. Two apparently separated buildings (Museum and Library) are instead connected by hypogeum public ambients where people can enjoy temporary exhibitions and cultural activities. Public functions are located on the ground floor, with free access to visitors; in the upper floors there are temporary and permanent exhibitions, teaching areas, conference and consultation rooms. The comic theme influences the shapes and the the plans of the buildings and also redraws the entire park with interactive installations. The complex has been designed to be used both entirely and in part, with appropriate closures of one or more elements (library, museum, congress center) and aims to spread and promote the comics in all its forms, inviting visitors and curious. MUSEI DEL FUMETTO L’ultima delle realtà culturali nata per la promozione e divulgazione della Nona arte è quella dei musei del fumetto: luoghi concepiti per la raccolta e la conservazione delle opere dei vari autori e per l’esposizione di questo materiale a un pubblico più o meno competente, attraverso percorsi studiati e chiavi di lettura appropriate. Occorre fare subito una distinzione tra i musei del fumetto veri e propri, e quelli che presentano opere fumettistiche all’interno di un conMentre i primi sono nati e organizzati appositamente per l’esposizione, la promozione e la diffusione di quest’arte, anche attraverso inipercorsi, senza ovviamente sminuirne il valore. Sia per un discorso temporale che culturale, i musei del fumetto possono considerarsi come una logica evoluzione, dettata dalle necessità, delle tipologie museali precedentemente citate: gli argomenti “qualcosa” (immagini, disegni) e quindi risultano simili in termini di guarda gli spazi, i supporti, e le luci si assomigliano (si tratta, nella maggior parte dei casi, di tavole, fogli di carta di diverse dimensioni o di tele che non possono essere soggetti a luce diretta prolungata o a determinate condizioni ambientali).

Il fumetto tuttavia, proprio grazie alla sua grande espressività e versatilità, ha dato origine a molti fenomeni che non possono essere ricondotti ad altri esistenti e che richiedono quindi spazi e strutture appropriate. Durante la mia ricerca ho avuto modo di conoscere e analizzare diversi musei e devo ammettere che non è stato semplice riuscire a re i diversi casi di studio. Da un punto di vista cronologico, i primi musei del fumetto sono nati come gallerie espositive, inserite all’interno di strutture pubbliche e private (Biblioteche, centri culturali, scuole, residenze private, castrutture mobili, è stato possibile ricreare un ambiente ottimale per l’esposizione e la conservazione delle opere. Tra gli esempi più recenti, possiamo ricordare Milano Manga Festival (Rotonda della Besana), in cui sono state esposte numerose tavole originali di famosissimi Mangaka (autori giapponesi) e merchandising nara (Complesso Museale Santa Maria alla Scala, Siena) e le varie mostre organizzate durante il Lucca Comics&Games 2013 presso Palazzo Ducale, Chiesa dei Servi, ex Real Collegio. Accanto alle gallerie espositive, per offrire al visitatore un’esperienza completa e una conoscenza più approfondita dell’argomento, sono le sedersi e consultare con calma i fumetti degli autori esposti, sale proiezioni e conferenze, aule didattiche e laboratori in cui il visitatore

“MICROCOSMO CON VISTA” STUDY OF AN EXHIBITION PATH

The final architectural exam consisted in a project to valorize and expose the M. Melloni scientific collection and some physics tecnologies (experiments machines and scientists’ memorabilia). The exhibition occupies two level of a large rectangular room in a University of Parma building: a first floor area is dedicated to the historic collection and finishes in a large double height recreation area. From here begins the didactic areas with live experiments that continue upstairs. The journey ends in a suspended foyer, from which is possible to access the conference room, look out over the relaxation area or proceed towards the exit. THE NEW CECINA TOWN

CONCEPT FOR A NEW URBAN SETTLEMENT

Assuming that the city can be rebuilt from its foundations, the project aims at the realization of a new urban settlement following two specific guidelines: comply the newest and latest regulations and guarantee the ihnabitants the best living conditions. It was decided to develop the new Cecina along the coast and on the two banks of the river, by creating a new tourist-cultural-sporting area in the port area. Particular attention was dedicated to the public greenery with the construction of a well-equipped river park and a road system optimized for a low environmental impact and to promote public transport.

A new museum installation consist in 40 plaster statues rappresenting the traditional costumes of Trentino. Work starts with a 3D scan of each subject and then a post-production divided in several steps: -Define or recreate meshes parts and details missed from the scan - Retopology of the mesh and creation of new UV map - Colouring and texturing starting from 3D scan informations and photo references - Optimize models to print with slicer programs
